Erica Averion
Executive Director
Erica@FLCorrectionalExcellence.com
With an uncanny way of finding the good in anyone and any situation she has spent a great deal of her time over the past decade serving in jails and prisons, facilities and institutions that she believes are filled with the biggest underdogs and most overlooked talent pool in America.
With her system-impacted perspective, Erica served for many years within Florida prisons, leading programming initiatives in character dorms, including the Faith & Character, Re-Entry, and the Veterans/Honors dorms. During her service, she co-founded a re-entry transition mentor program targeting offenders who are within six months of their release date and who do not have outside support to assist with post-release plans.
Erica has served as the Executive Director for Florida Foundation for Correctional Excellence since its inception.
